Cat. #001514213: ROBERT HELPMANN

Uncommon signature in black fountain pen on a 5x6-inch tan autograph album page, acquired in-person following a stage performance in the late 1920s. In good condition and accompanied by a small computer-printed image. Brilliant ballet star Robert Helpmann, who starred in The Red Shoes (1948) and Tales of Hoffman (1951), was also a deliciously eccentric character actor, noteworthy as the child catcher in 1968's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and the Mad Hatter in 1972's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
